Physician Data

Goals

To provide recent data for doctors in the US by the following categories total number by age, gender, and specialty; the number of graduates per year from US medical schools; and average income by specialty and by state.

Early Findings

On the attached spreadsheet is the breakdown of MDs data in the US.  
The first tab shows the breakdown by specialty and by gender as of December 2019. 
The second tab shows the breakdown by specialty and by age as of December 2019. 
The third tab shows the annual initial offer of salary for family physicians from 2014 to 2020.
Summary of Initial Hour of Research
The research team used the first hour of research to confirm the availability of information about physicians as well as to provide a spreadsheet of initial findings.
Overall, initial research indicates that sufficient information exists in the public domain to satisfy the stated goals of this research; as such, we recommend proceeding with one or more of the following next steps.
