Mission: No Kid Hungry states that its mission is to end childhood hunger. They promise not to stop in this quest until they've "met that promise and every single child in America has the food they need to grow up healthy and strong."
Becky Graninger- Chief development and marketing officer
Mike Panas- Chief information officer
Christy Tharp, CPA - Chief financial officer
Gary Sloan - Chief U.S. operations officer
Results in the U.S.:
They have reached "5.6 million children and families in the United States with distributions of shelf-stable food and essential household items valued at more than $329 million."
"Helped more than 17,000 teachers across 355 U.S. school districts with more than $3.7 million in teaching supplies as well as books valued at more than $7 million to reach more than 574,000 students."
The initial hour of research identified two organizations in the U.S. that are making an impact on child hunger.
We provided information on the mission statements and the leadership team of each organization. However, information on their strategies, results, and overall effectiveness was not found within the initial hour of research.
Note that we couldn't rank both organizations based on their results to determine which is more impactful because the results of No Kid Hungry were not readily available unlike the results of Feed the Children. However, further deep-dive about No Kid Hungry is likely to yield information on their results so far.
Hence, we propose more hours of research to gather more information on these two organizations. We could also identify more organizations as suggested in the following proposals below.
Only the project owner can select the next research path.
