Research Outline

Aviation Museums and Aviation-Related Associations in the US

Goals

To provide a list of all aviation museums and all associations with any relationship to aviation in the United States. This list will be used for marketing outreach to help sell the "Undaunted" ebook about Jimmie Matter, a pioneer aviator who was the first aviator to attempt to fly around the world solo. The list will also help the author get potential opportunities to give speeches.
  • For the aviation museums, include things like WWII museum and even innovation museums, and provide the following details for each address/location, phone, email, and website description of collection.
  • For the aviation-related associations, provide the following details: name, address, phone, email, website, description/ additional notes, and number of members. Examples of the associations with any relationship to aviation include Airline Pilot's Association, RTCA, OX 5 Engine Association, Lockheed Vega Association, WWII associations, and Explorers.
  • Err on the side of too many or tangentially related.
