Puron Advance Marketing Strategy
Carrier introduced its R-454B refrigerant
(Puron Advance) product as an environment-friendly next generation refrigerant that can comply with the "UN Montreal Protocol Kigali Amendment regulations."
The product is also introduced as
Carrier's more sustainable replacement
to its current R-410A refrigerant.
Puron Advance has a lower "
Global Warming Potential (GWP)
" compared to the R-410A product.
These products are part of the company's "
ducted residential and light commercial
packaged solutions" that are retailed in North America.
Puron Advance is also seen to
exceed the requirements
of other future environmental regulations.
The refrigerant is also identified as the best product that can
reduce negative environmental consequences
and energy consumption.
Carrier also announced that it is collaborating with research teams and members of regulatory bodies to help in coming up with
"standards, codes and regulations
" that will ensure the safety of the product.
Carrier also reiterated its commitment to nature by ensuring that its products are
efficient and can responsibly meet
The company also mentioned that the release of the Puron Advance refrigerant is the "
