Champion Brand Customer Audience

Goals

To find non-competing brands have similar consumer audience as the Champion clothing and footwear brand in order to explore the possibility of a collaboration.

Early Findings

  • The favorite brands of male millennials and Gen Zs who are a key part of Champion customer demographics include Amazon, Walmart, Kohl's, Old Navy, H&M, and Forever 21.
  • We have excluded brands that are in direct competition to Champions Clothing such as Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas that are also favored by millennials and Gen Z males.
  • Luxury clothing brands that have an audience similar to Champion brand such as Gucci, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel, Prada, and Polo may also be a good fit.
  • Personal care brands that have consumer audience similar to that of Champion such as Axe, Old Spice, Dove, Degree, Head & Shoulder, and Irish Spring may also be a good fit as these brands are among the top ten personal care brands for men aged 13 – 17, 18 – 25, and 26 -36.
  • Other brands such as Uber, Netflix, Apple, Airbnb, and Instagram are also popular with the consumer audience that is similar to that of Champion.
  • Marvel Studio, Doritos, and PlayStation are very popular among male Gen Zs and may be a good fit for collaboration.
