Goals

Determine information on Chevron and other TCO partner-owned logistics arrangements for moving personnel and the accommodations for personnel in Tengiz and Atyrau. The information will be used to prepare for a project.

Early Findings

TCO PERSONNEL TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENT
Based on a report from 2013, the chosen transportation mode for TCO employees is by bus.
This was decided after evaluating several options.
The bus will use the existing Sarykamis Highway (SHW).
The renovation of this highway was funded by TCO.
 Traveling by bus through various TCO facilities was assessed to be safer and more reliable.
The bus can bring people to their residential camps or to nearby stations of the Kazakh rail network.
