Cities Commuting Mode Share

Goals

To find the percentage of people who commute via the designated modes in the following countries: China, Singapore, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Romania, Sweden, Belgium, Japan, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia 

Early Findings

Here is the link to the Google spreadsheet containing the project.  We have completed the attached spreadsheet with the names of requested countries.

The United KingdomThe UK has a population of 66.65 million people. 
 61 percent of trips in the country is via car rides.
 76 percent of individuals in the country have access to at least one private vehicle. 
 36 percent of the UK population drive to work.
 19 percent of individuals in the country go to work via public transport. 
A total of 25 percent of the UK population have tried at least one ride-sharing service. 
According to the INRIX report, 67 percent of all trips in the country are below 3 miles.
