Summary of the Finding Relevant to the Research
  • During our first hour of research, we were able to find some required information and some background information. We were able to identify six competitors of Blackstone products that sell products both in brick-and-mortar stores and online through their own websites and through Amazon storefronts. We were able to determine that Blackstone products does not only rely on a traditional distribution model but also sells its products through its Amazon storefront page. Finally, we were able to identify social media platforms, both established and relatively new, that are good for businesses to use and to highlight some basic background information on two of them: Snapchat and TikTok. We did not have time during our first hour of research to complete a competitive landscape of Blackstone Products competitors, nor did we have time to provide highly detailed information on what new social media platforms provide good opportunities for businesses.
