Goals
To find out interesting companies other than Cake and Hello Alfred that offer unique elderly services that didn't exist before in order to devise new businesses into materials for research. Companies of interest are those that are likely to grow in the future, have an increasing number of users, and have received investments from prestigious venture capital within the last two years.
Early Findings
- There are no companies offering unique elderly services that meet all four requirements. Most of the elderly startup companies provide services that are already being provided by several other companies.
- However, the few companies that provide unique services for the elderly have not received investments from renowned venture capital within the last two years. Some of these companies can be found below:
1. Pixie Scientific
2. Zansors
3. Seismic
Proposed Next Steps
Since none of the companies offering elderly services that were not offered before have received investments from VC in the past two years, we'd recommend:
- Option 1: Expanding the research scope to exclude the venture capitalist funding condition and identify 2-3 more companies offering unique elderly services in the US with evidence of their potential future growth, an increasing number of users, and any funding information. (3 hours, $87)
- Option 2: Expanding the research scope to include 2-3 more companies that offer unique elderly services that are also offered by not more than 1-2 other companies, with evidence of their potential future growth, an increasing number of users, and any funding information. (3 hours, $87)
Let us know which option we should go with, and we'll get started!
