Goals

Obtain information on the industry verticals and the sizes of the target companies of Digital Realty and Vantage Data Centers. The information will be used to draft a messaging strategy.

Early Findings

DIGITAL REALTY
The top five industries that use Digital Realty's solutions are the following: construction - 42 companies (13%); computer software - 37 companies (11%); real estate - 21 companies (6%); financial services - 20 companies (6%); and information technology and services - 18 companies (5%).
The following are the employee size breakdown of the Digital Realty clients: 39% are large (>1,000 employees); 37% are medium-sized (50 to 1,000 employees); and 21% are small (<50 employees).
In terms of company revenues, the following are the size breakdown of the company's clients: 38% are small (<$50 million), 17% are medium-sized, and 38% are large (>$1000 million).
VANTAGE DATA CENTERS
The top five industries that use Vantage Data Center's solutions are the following: construction - computer software - 18 companies (21%), information technology and services - 9 companies (10%), financial services - 8 companies  (9%), and banking - 5 companies (5%).
The following are the employee size breakdown of the Digital Realty clients: 16% are small (<50 employees); 32% are medium-sized (50 to 1,000 employees); and 43% are large (>1000 employees).
In terms of company revenues, the following are the size breakdown of the company's clients: 35% are small (<$50 million), 8% are medium-sized, and 43% are large (>$1000 million).
