QIO Competitors: Nursing Home Consulting

Goals

To identify 4 Quality Improvement Organizations (QIO) competitors in the nursing home (assisted living, home health) consulting space with any details on size, reach, and service offerings and with a focus on individual consultants and/or within the Louisiana/Gulf Coast region as available.

Early Findings

Our initial research on QIO competitors in Louisiana revealed insights. Here are key pieces of information we found:
Quality Improvement Organizations (QIO) Competitors:Alliant Quality  Alliant Quality is dedicated to improving the quality, safety and integrity of health care. Since 1970, Alliant Quality has provided a variety of services to numerous public and private organizations to increase the value, effectiveness, and accessibility of health care.
 Alliant Quality is the quality improvement consulting group of Alliant Health Solutions, which is the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) that has a reach throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
 Specific service offerings include hosting monthly Learning and Action Network (LAN) events for nursing home groups and community coalitions who come together to improve patient care or population health and spread best practices through peer-to-peer learning and solution sharing and hosting a national quality improvement initiatives webinar.
Alliant Quality also offers a cooperative project with nursing homes called the Southern Partners Action Collaborative for Excellence (SPACE).
