Below we have provided a list of the largest construction companies in Western Europe. We deemed that the largest construction companies should have at least 20,000 employees and this informed our search strategy. However, we could not provide the largest companies by field workers. This is due to the fact that neither of the top companies we found, although public companies, listed the exact number of field workers they have. Therefore, we had to expand our scope to include all employees.
