Corelogic RpData- Property Data Sources

Goals

To identify the data source of Corelogic RpData for the Australian regions of New South Wales, Victoria, Canberra, and South Australia.

Early Findings

Through our initial report, we were able to identify the major sources of data for Corelogic RpData. Below is an overview of our early findings.
  • In their third party restrictions page, Corelogic mention the names of New South Wales (NSW) Department of Education, South Australian Government Open Data Directory, Tasmania Department of Education, and Australian Bureau of Statistics as their sources of data along with the data source link.
  •  Consumer Affairs Victoria has been mentioned as a data source for property information for Victoria and this could also been seen on the official government website.
  • This 2018 Property market Report by Corelogic credits Australian Capital Territory Data with ACT Planning and Land Authority (Canberra) and Victorian Data with State of Victoria (Victoria State Government, Environment, Land, Water and Planning Department).
