Early Findings
NeatClub (Havn)
NeatClub is a dating app whose members "love having sex but want
to be safe
and reduce the risk of getting infected by a sexually transmitted disease."
It is mandatory for all members of NeatClub to undergo STD tests and verification every
four months
.
Once a user is verified to be free of STD, that user gets "tagged with an icon of a glass of
"neat" whiskey
."
Users can only chat with a person whose STD status is
verified
.
Currently, only people whose STD test results are
negative
can use the site.
The dating app provides a way to "fetch STD test results of chronic/lifelong STDs directly from
healthcare provider
or lab and store it on the app".
If a user wants to access his/her last test results directly on the app, they simply need to fill out a
2-minute form
within the app as soon as the results are back.
The following test results can be accessed from the app: "
HIV 1/2
, Herpes-1, Herpes-2, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B,
Hepatitis C
test results".
NeatClub makes it
simple and easy
to exchange test results that can be
trusted
.
Ashka Shah
is the founder and designer of NeatClub. The app is now operating under a new name,
Havn
