Early Findings
Data from multiple field studies since 1990 show that whites are
36%
more likely to receive callbacks from job interviews than blacks, and
24%
more than Latinos.
Fewer than
40%
of the deaf or hard-of-hearing are employed full time.
Fifty-three percent
of baby boomers reported that they had been discriminated against at work because of their age.
People with disabilities are hired at
half the rate
as people without disabilities.
The unemployment rate for people without a high school diploma or GED is
about double
that for people with at least a bachelor's degree.
"Muslim men are
76% less likely
to be employed than their white Christian counterparts, according to research by the Research Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship at the University of Bristol."
Summary of Data Availability
Our initial search found that the specific data points requested are not likely to be publicly available.
If the data points are publicly available, they typically will be from older sources, some from the 1990s and early 2000s as that is when many studies were done and published.
Many of the categories of interest are interconnected and the data for individual subsets is not likely to be available. For example, data may be available on LGBTQ as a group, but may not be available for lesbians alone.
