Obtain a competitive analysis of the personal training certification programs of the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in comparison with the programs of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

American Council on Exercise (ACE)

  •  ACE provides training and certification to around 90,000 health and fitness professionals, health coaches, and other healthcare professionals. The company mentioned that it is the biggest provider of certifications in the health and fitness area.
  • It is currently providing four certifications and has earned an accreditation recognition from the the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). This recognition is considered as the gold standard in the United States for evaluating professional capability and other skills that are considered crucial for health and exercise trainers.
  • The company's certification process is focused around the ACE Mover Method
  • This method is the company's standard in changing habits to motivate people to opt for more healthy alternatives.
