Goals

To identify dog trainers in Brooklyn that can come to a home in the zip code 11021 and specialize in helping dogs get over aggressiveness toward other dogs for purposes of training a dog.

Early Findings

Preliminary research shows there are numerous dog trainers that come to clients' homes in the 11021 zip code and specialize in aggression training for dogs. Two such trainers follow.

JOSH GENT

  • Josh Gent is a Bark Busters dog trainer who is responsible for the Brooklyn area that includes the zip code 11021.
  • Bark Busters trainers come to clients' homes to train dogs in various categories including dominance aggression, which "can be owner directed, dog on dog, etc."

  • Gent has a rating of 5 stars out of 5 stars on 18 reviews through Bark Busters.
  • Several reviewers specifically noted that Gent helped them with their dog's aggression.
  • For instance, Capri was adopted into a family and showed aggression toward the family's other dog. The owner stated that Gent "comes to help us when we need, is available by text and email and phone calls, video chats" and has helped Capri with various behavioral issues, including aggression.
