- According to S&P Global's May 2019 report, the household debt market in France is concentrated among 6 banking groups: Crédit Mutuel, Crédit Agricole, BPCE, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, and La Banque Postale.
- The Fédération Bancaire Française (FBF) reported that loans to households and companies in France amounted to €2,089 billion.
