  • Based on a report from Verizon, there is a 115% surge in gaming activities in the U.S. as compared to an average day before the COVID-19 happened.
  • Gaming traffic also jumped by 75% during peak hours.
  • Some game titles saw an increase of 10% in organic impressions and downloads when the outbreak started. Other game titles reached as high sa 60%.
  • Mobile management gaming websites saw an increase of 857%. Meanwhile, those related to puzzle games rose by 590%, while social games rose by 368%.
  • Around 37% of those who are 18-29 years old are expected to spend more during the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. The screenshot of the graph can be found in this link.
