Gas Utilities

Goals

To compile a list of tier 2 gas utilities in the US including the size of their customer base, type of service provided, ownership type, and website.

Early Findings

Vectren Energy Delivery (Vectren) is a subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy and it supplies gas to over 1 million customers. 
National Fuel Gas is an investor owned utility that supplies gas to 740,000 customers. 
Oklahoma Natural Gas Company is a subsidiary of ONE Gas, Inc. The company supplies gas to 877,000 customers. 
Texas Gas Service is a subsidiary of ONE Gas, Inc., and it supplies gas to 663,000 customers. 
New Mexico Gas Company is a subsidiary of Emera Company and serves 524,000 customers. 
We Energies is a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group and it has 1.136 million gas customers. 
Northwest Natural Gas Company (NW Natural) is a subsidiary NW Natural Holdings and supplies gas to 750,000 customers.
