• When looking for a top health insurance company, factors to consider include a variety of policies and different terms and conditions.
• The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) in India rates health insurance companies and provides a "top" list. They analyze the companies based off performance, overall benefits offered to customers, incurred claim ratio, among others.

Summary of our Early Findings

• Our initial one-hour research was able to identify various pre-compiled list of health insurance companies. We have provided the list of the top four in India.
• Our initial attempt at identifying the top health insurance companies in China did not bear immediate fruit. Our research would identify the top insurance companies, but not specific to the health industry.
• For this reason, additional time would be necessary to comb through those lists and identify the insurance companies that also offer health insurance.
