Truffle Product Manufacturers in Italy

Goals

Increase supplier base for an import and distribution company of food items in the US, by finding 3 manufacturers from Italy that manufacture the following items: truffle oil, truffle salt, and truffle seasoning. Any other truffle-based items would also be of interest. These manufacturers need to be high-end and well-established. The capability to export to the USA is ideal.

The report should include the following details: the company name, their email, their website, their phone number, and their address. Not as well whether those manufacturers can also do private label products.

Early Findings

The team has uncovered three Italian truffle manufacturers that can be contacted for further arrangements. Their details can be found in the spreadsheet here.
  • In general, many truffle manufacturers offer a limited amount of products, preferring to sell truffles either as is or simply preserved in salt and oil.
  • Sabatino Tartufi is the world's largest truffle manufacturer. They are the best placed for any truffle need, as they already have firmly established global capabilities.
  • Tartuflanghe has been around since 1975 and has won several international awards for innovation. They have an extensive list of products.
  • Bacol Tartufi is slightly smaller producers, but offer the advantage of possibly being perceived as less "commercial" and closer to the land. Bacol Tartufi has been in business for 16 years and boasts the only truffle sculptor in the world.
