Higher Education Institutions
To find the marketing, communications, admissions, advancement, and recruitment titles for the universities listed in the attached spreadsheet. Names of the individuals holding these positions are not required, but should be included if they are readily available. In addition, identify any other schools on the Eastern Seaboard (Maine to Florida) that meet the following criteria: 1) 4-year private for-profit or nonprofit college/university, 2) not a state school, 3) not a top-tier or Ivy League university, 4) might also offer graduate school programs, and 5) has a total student population of between 4,000 and 10,000. Include these additional schools and requested job titles in the attached spreadsheet beginning with row 35.
During this additional hour of research, we were able to find the marketing, communications, admissions, advancement, and recruitment titles for Fairfield University and Bentley University. We were also able to find the names of the individuals holding these titles. We organized our findings in the form of a spreadsheet as requested.
- Marketing and communications are a combined department at Fairfield University headed by the VP of marketing and communications.
- It appears that Bentley University also combines its marketing and communications departments under the direction of the VP for marketing and communications.
In addition to this public search, we scanned our proprietary research database of over 1 million sources and were unable to find any specific research reports that address your goals.
Proposed next steps:
You need to be the project owner to select a next step.
We could start by finding the marketing, communications, admissions, advancement, and recruitment titles for the next 24 universities listed. We could also include the names of the individuals holding these positions if that information is readily available (i.e. if finding the name does not require additional research). In addition, we could transfer the location and enrollment numbers for these 24 schools from the original hour of research into the attached spreadsheet. We would include all of this information in rows 4-27.
In addition, we could provide 2-3 insights related to marketing or advertising to higher education institutions. These insights will not relate specifically to state schools or top-tier/Ivy League universities. For each insight, we could 1) describe what it is, 2) explain why it is relevant, and 3) provide 2-3 data points or illustrations to support it. Our regional focus would be the Eastern Seaboard (Maine to Florida) wherever possible, although we may expand this scope to include the US in general if necessary.
