Census Data - Adults with Children under 18

Goals

To determine the percentage of people in the US who are 25-65 and who have children under 18 living in the household.





Early Findings

In 2020 there were 170,922,904 adults between the ages of 25 and 64.

In 2020 there were 72,901,000 children living in households.

There were 51,334 ,000 children with two parents, 18,580,000 with a single parent, and 2,986,000 living with other adults.

The US Census classifies people by the following age ranges: 25 to 29 years, 30 to 34 years, 35 to 39 years, 40 to 44 years, 45 to 49 years, 50 to 54 years, 55 to 59 years and 60 to 64 years.
