Hospital Purchasing Personnel

Goals

To identify the purchasing personnel and contact information for hospitals and medical centers in the Southeast, so that companies producing critical needs for infection control and treatment have this information and can contact them.

Early Findings

During this initial hour of research, we found 103 licensed hospitals and general institutional infirmaries in South Carolina. We also began searching for the contact information for the purchasing personnel. However, this was unavailable for the hospitals selected and the phone number for the hospital was provided as an alternative. We created the attached spreadsheet to organize our findings.

Summary of Findings

  • We spent this hour collating a list of hospitals and medical centers in South Carolina, which are listed in column A in the "South Carolina" tab of the attached spreadsheet. These were based on the list of licensed hospitals in South Carolina.
  • Abbeville Area Medical Center does not appear to provide information for its purchasing personnel. As an alternative, we found its phone number (864-379-2345) on its Contact Us page, but no e-mail was available.
  • We were also unable to find purchasing personnel for Aiken Regional Medical Center. As an alternative, we found its phone number (803-641-5000) on its Contact Us page, but no e-mail was available.
  • We were unable to begin listing hospitals for other states in the Southeast: Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and Louisiana. However, our initial findings determined that this information would be available with continued research, allowing these details to be added to the spreadsheet.

Proprietary Research

In addition to this public search, we scanned our proprietary research database of over 1 million sources and were unable to find any specific research reports that address your goals.
