Investment Management Platforms

Goals

To understand the business models of 10-20 current investment management platforms such as Carta, Angel.co, Captable, Wealthfront, Pitchbook, Appfolio, Angelloop, and SeedInvest for purposes of developing a new investor platform.

Early Findings

Preliminary research shows that there are many investment management platforms, so the eight platforms mentioned (Carta, AngelList, Captable, Wealthfront, Pitchbook, Appfolio, Angelloop, and SeedInvest) and the top 12 products according to Capterra reviews have been entered into the attached spreadsheet for a competitive landscape.

Proposed next steps:

You need to be the project owner to select a next step.
As the initial research focused on identifying 20 of the top investment management platforms, we recommend continuing research to create a competitive landscape that provides an overview, features, target market, business model, pricing, and revenue/funding for each platform.
Alternatively, since 10 companies was the low end of the requested range, we can provide a competitive landscape for the top 10 products (Carta, AngelList, Captable, Wealthfront, Pitchbook, Appfolio, Angelloop, SeedInvest, Stessa, and Juniper Square) that provides an overview, features, target market, business model, pricing, and revenue/funding for each platform.
