Goals

To obtain a list of every law firm and CPA firm in Indianapolis with at least two attorneys/accountants on staff.

Early Findings

Law Firms

  • The HG.org website has compiled a directory of every law firm in the United States, sort-able by city, state, and practice area.
  • We have compiled a list of five law firms in Indiana with more than one attorney on staff.

CPA Firms

  • While no master list of every CPA firm in the United States or in Indiana could be found, the Yellow Pages has published a lengthy list of firms which we were able to reference.
  • We have compiled a list of five CPA firms in Indiana with more than one accountant on staff.

Our initial research found that there are roughly 200 law firms in Indianapolis, IN. As such, we would recommend continued research to identify and provide the name, address, practice area(s), and number of partners for the remaining 195 firms. We will exclude any solo-practice firms.
Our initial research found that, according to the YellowPages, there are 614 CPA firms in Indianapolis, IN. As such, we would recommend continued research to identify and provide the name, address, practice area(s), and number of partners for the remaining 609 firms. We will exclude any solo-practice firms.
Additionally, we would recommend continued research to identify the market size for law firms and for CPA firms in Indianapolis, IN. As well, we would recommend research to identify the top six CPA firms and top six law firms in the city, and to provide a competitive landscape of those firms.
