Companies with $1bn+ in revenue

Goals

  • To create a list of all worldwide companies who make $1bn+ in revenue annually segemented by geography and industry.

Early Findings

  •  Used the global 2000 list to come up with a list of the 1,953 global companies with $1bn+ in revenue. Scraped this list, converted the revenues so it can be sorted, and added filtering. The list can be found here 
  • Additionally, scrapped Forbes' list of largest private companies which had 238 private companies with revenue of $1bn+. Scraped this list, converted the revenues into a number (sortable) and added it to a different tab on the list that can be found here
