Summary of Findings

  • We started this hour of research by exploring several lists of "films set in Connecticut". While several movies on these lists had a Connecticut-based plot, we found that most of them were not filmed in Connecticut.
  • Our initial research indicated that compiling a list of movies and TV shows that are both filmed in Connecticut and have a plot based in Connecticut will be difficult and time-consuming.
  • After reading the movie plots, we have identified five movies and one TV series filmed and based in Connecticut.
  • We used "filming locations" provided by IMDb to determine Connecticut sites (cities/towns/landmarks) featured in each movie.
