Goals

To obtain a list of live events in Stamford, CT that attracted large groups of LGBTQ, Black, Hispanic, or female attendees (1,000+) along with the sponsors and entertainment for each for the purpose of identifying sponsors of diverse and inclusive events in this city.

Early Findings

LIGHTHOUSE SPEAKER SERIES
The Lighthouse is an LGBTQ+ teen group in Stamford.
It holds a weekly meeting at the Stamford Hospital Tully Center.
The group also announced a recently formed speaker series that the public can join.
The speaker series is referred to as "Queer & Questioning: A Community Forum".
 Renowned speakers will be guesting at this question and answer gathering.
It will be held at the Harry Bennett Branch of Ferguson Library in Stamford. 
It will run four times every year.
One of the sessions featured guests such as CT State Representatives Matt Blumenthal, Jeff Currey, and Stamford Board of Ed President, Andy George.
