MarketDial Competitive Analysis

Goals

To conduct a competitive analysis of MarketDial and its competitors in order to facilitate a client presentation.

Early Findings

  • We were able to find Prism Skylabs, a cloud intelligence platform connecting A.I. to video, that allows retail outlets to make use of video insights to improve their operations, including conducting A/B testing in brick and mortar stores.
  • MarketDial is focused on providing simple and accurate A/B testing solutions for offline commerce. Unlike Prism Skylabs and Applied Predictive Technologies, MarkeDial seems to be solely focused on providing A/B testing solutions.
  • Applied Predictive Technologies provides various testing solutions that can be used to perform customer tests, employees test, and sites test.
  • TIBCO Spotfire allows "retail marketers and data scientists use sophisticated sets of historical data to identify actionable insights and build models that predict customers behavior, preference, and potential overtime. Customer segmentation, propensity-to-buy scoring, and A/B testing are just a few use cases that are made easy with TIBCO’s analytic tools."
  • We will complete the attached Competitive Landscape spreadsheet for each of the four companies identified.
