Our original research found that the number of community hospitals with 300+ beds in the east coast region is limited. We were unable to locate any in Maine and only two in New Hampshire. We propose further research to identify and provide the names, websites, states, number of beds, and relevant contacts for 5-7 additional community hospitals in 1) Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, 2) North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, 3) Delaware, New Jersey, and New York, and 4) Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
While the number of community hospitals with more than 300 beds was limited, we found during our initial research that there are quite a few community hospitals with beds in the 200-300 range. Therefore, we propose broadening the research criteria to include community hospitals with beds between 200-300. We can provide the names, websites, states, number of beds, and relevant contacts for 5-7 community hospitals in 1) Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, 2) North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, 3) New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, and 4) Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
