Based on our initial findings, the marketing spend figures of private companies are extremely limited especially for private plumbing companies. We then estimated the marketing spend of some of the previously identified plumbing services in California based on their estimated revenue and the average percent that plumbing companies should allocate for marketing. Based on this, we propose to continue with the research to provide 4-6 additional key players in the plumbing sector in California. We will define the major ones based on estimated revenue as these are mostly private companies. For each player, we will provide the name, website, why they are a key player, and value proposition. We also recommend further research to provide a competitive analysis of the identified key players. For each company, we will provide a 3-4 sentence overview of the company, service offerings, competitive advantage, average marketing spend calculated from revenue, and target market.
We also recommend undertaking additional research to provide 2-3 best practices when promoting a plumbing business in California. For each best practice, we will explain what the practice is, why is it a best practice, and any available success metrics.
