As the overall landscape for this request is vast, it is suggested that research continue in one of three ways. To obtain the most granular data available, it is suggested that an individual review of each state (and Washington DC) is made in order to attempt to identify the number of accounts who have their utilities delivered discretely (i.e. by a different provider) or consolidated (i.e. the same provider) across: gas/oil, electricity, water, sewer, waste removal. (Please note that this method still may not provide the full level of detail based upon the sheer number of individual utilities which will come into play).
Alternatively, a review of the top 50 of each type of utility (power, gas, water, sewer, and waste removal) can be made in order to isolate the number of accounts who have their utilities delivered discretely (i.e. by a different provider) or consolidated (i.e. the same provider) across: gas/oil, electricity, water, sewer, waste removal.
As another option, a review can be made of the top 10 of each type of utility (power, gas, water, sewer, and waste removal) can be made in order to isolate the number of accounts who have their utilities delivered discretely (i.e. by a different provider) or consolidated (i.e. the same provider) across: gas/oil, electricity, water, sewer, waste removal.
