Adult Men's Shoe Sizes, US

Goals

Gain data on percentile distribution of adult men's shoes sizes in the US, in order to determine a sizing run. 

Early Findings

Average shoe size for men in the US varies by height.  
The average height for men is approximately 5 feet 9 inches, with an average shoe size of around 10.5. 
Men 5’5″ or shorter had an average shoe size of 7 to 9, men 5’6″ to 5’9″ had an average of 9.5 to 10.5, men 5’10” to 6’2″	 had an average of 11 to 12.5, and men 6’3″ and taller had an average of size 13. 
One source also notes that "there's no official data on the average shoe size for men in the United States".
Another report shows rough shoe size ratios but does not provide exact percentages. 
 However, one study shows that for males, foot length is on average 15.36% of body height. 
The CDC has provided data on distribution of height of men in the US that may be useful in triangulating average shoe sizes. 
The best-selling shoe sizes for men in the US range between size 9-11. 
It's also noted that shoe sizes tend to rovivary slightly by brand.
