1. 5-10 differences and similarities between LabVIEW and Python.
2. 2-3 case studies on the use of each technology (where each was a better choice), detailing the project, product, and use case, with reasons why LabVIEW or Python was chosen.
3. 6 statistics on each technology, revealing their popularity or preferred use in certain cases or industries.
5. Predictions about the growth of each technology's usage in the future.
This research will inform a white paper geared towards helping business professionals know the technology that is applicable to their projects and cases, and get a grasp on the differences between Python and LabVIEW.

  • Our first hour of research was spent scanning for statistics, data, and general information surrounding LabVIEW and Python to determine whether all the aspects of the request can be completed. The information is publicly available.
  • In the early findings, we have provided an overview and introduction to LabVIEW with details of where it is used and the industries in which it can be applied.
  • Please select one or more of the options provided in the scoping section below where we plan to dig deeper into the case studies, differences and similarities, statistics on popularity and usage, and predictions about the futures of Python and LabVIEW.
  • Since our research scope limits us to providing 2-3 case studies per software, we will provide 3 for each technology.
