To identify the best practices for creating a successful crowdfunding video and a crowdfunding campaign.
To build a pros/cons list for the top 5 crowdfunding websites.

Top 5 Crowfunding Websites

  • The top 5 crowdfunding websites were compiled from three lists from:
  •  The Balance Small Business: Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Causes, Patreon, GoFundMe, Circel Up, and Lending Club.
  •  Digital Trends: Kickstarter, Indiegogo, GoFundMe, Crowd Supply, Crowdfunder, Experiment, and Chuffed.
  •  Inc.: Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Patreon, GoFundMe, Crowdrise, PledgeMusic, Rocket Hub, Crowdfunder, and Give.
  • The final list only contains sites that are present in at least two of the three lists:
