Tier 2 Utilities

Goals

To compile a list of tier 2 utilities in the US including the size of their customer base, type of service provided, ownership type, and website. 

Early Findings

Here is the Google spreadsheet containing the preliminary findings. 
In our preliminary hour of research, we found a report that detailes the names, ownership, and customer count for all power companies operating the US. We have transferred this information to the attached spreadsheet and ranked them based on their customer count. 

We were also able to identify several water utility companies operating in the US. 

 Acton Municipal Utility District - Texas.
 Alameda County Water District
 Albemarle County Service Authority - Virginia.
 Alexandria Light and Power - Minnesota.
 Alexandria Sanitation Authority - Virginia.
The above names along with their websites have also been listed in the attached spreadsheet.
