Immigration NGOs, Thought Leaders, and Awards

To identify NGOs in the United States that are helpful to immigrants, specifically with O1 visa along with the top 100 thought leaders around immigration and any awards for immigration assistance for the purposes of understanding the landscape for starting a foundation that focuses on helping extraordinary immigrants in extraordinary situations.

Early Findings

Preliminary research indicates there are no NGOs that focus on helping immigrants obtain an O1 visa. However, there are many NGOs that provide assistance to immigrants. In addition, there are numerous immigration thought leaders that could be identified that would positively contribute to an NGO foundation for assisting immigrants. Finally, there are quite a few awards that recognize excellence for assisting immigrants or for immigration reform.

Proposed next steps:

You need to be the project owner to select a next step.
As the initial research found 20 NGOs that provide assistance to immigrants, we recommend a competitive landscape that provides the headquarters, an overview, years of active work, budget, staff size, and funding sources for each organization.
We also recommend identifying 100 U.S. thought leaders or public intellectuals in immigration to include a short biography, examples of their work in immigration, their social media platforms and following, and contact information.
We further suggest an overview of major U.S. awards that are for immigration assistance or reform. This will include a 3-5 sentence description of the five awards found and an additional 2-3 awards along with 3-5 sentence descriptions.
