Goals

To provide an overview of the management and ownership structure of Nordic Real Estate Partners (NREP) covering its governing structure, board of directors, and management team as well as how they raise funds to finance their operations, notable individuals who invest in those funds, and the reasons they invest. 

Early Findings

Governance StructureNordic Real Estate Partners (NREP) is a private equity general partner firm with offices in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden. It was founded in 2005 by Claus Mathisen, Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby, and Rickard S. Dahlberg. It operates the partnership ownership/management structure, which has grown to become a total of 13 partners. 

Management TeamThe management of NREP consists of the following individuals:
 Claus Mathisen - CEO and Partner at NREP.
 Emanuele Bena - Head of Capital Markets.
 Jani Nokkanen - Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
 Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby - Partner and co-founder of NREP.
 Mikko Räsänen - Partner and head of NREP's Helsinki office.
 Jens Petter Hagen - Partner and head of NREP’s Oslo office.
 Rasmus Nørgaard - Partner and co-founder of NREP.
 Rune Kock - Partner and Head of Transactions.
 Rickard S. Dahlberg - Partner and co-founder of NREP. He also co-heads NREP’s Stockholm office.
