housing issues, drug treatment
within the society, and homelessness.
Building Changes
Building Changes has already made grants to
104 organizations
in
25 counties
across Washington state.
The organization administers the
Washington Youth & Families Fund
.
In Skagit County, the organization funded the
Community Action of Skagit County
with
$336,253
in 2014 for the Skagit Rapid Re-Housing Retention Project and
$280,000
in 2007 for the Homeless Families Initiative.
Currently, Building Changes is accepting application for funding through the Washington State
Student and Youth Homelessness
COVID-19 Response Fund.
The organization's 2020 Washington Youth & Families Fund Service Grants availed around
$3 million
to "social service providers, local tribes and/or community centers in Washington State outside of King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties to
support families and youth
