Goals
To understand what type of content people are consuming right now after March 13th that is non-coronavirus related, to include 5-10 of the most popular long-form articles with any statisical data regarding unique visitors and geographic spread and with a search range of: traditional media, blogs, and social media.
Early Findings
Our initial research on popular articles with content that is non-coronavirus related revealed insights. However, we were unable able to find any specific statistical data related to unique vistors or geographic spread. Here are key pieces of information we found:
Popular Articles that are Non-Coronavirus Related
- According to The New York Times, one of the most popular articles they published after March 13th that was non-coronavirus related was "Crackdown on U.S. Border is Planned: U.S. Records 100th Death".
- Another popular article that was published after March 13th by The New York Times that was non-coronavirus related was on the topic of cooking entitled, "What to Cook this Week". Although no specific information is available about unique visitors to this page, the article appeals to a large geographic spread by including recipes for Indian food and Nowruz, the Persian New Year.
- According to Fox News, one of the most popular articles they published after March 13th that is currently trending and non-coronavirus related is entitled, "Carolina Panthers Officially Release Cam Newton after 9 Seasons with the Team".
- Another popular article that was published by Fox News and is currently trending that is non-coronavirus related is entitled, "Mets Noah Syndergaard to Have Tommy John Surgey, Will be Out Until 2021".
