  • In 2019, food trends in Poland included the most popular food choice being Polish cuisine, Polish consumers having a moderate knowledge of current global food trends, and only around 40% of Poles knowing the concept of street food, and 23% of consumers knowing about slow food.
  • In 2019, Sushi was the trendiest food among Polish consumers with 32% of the respondents to a Statista survey saying that they saw it as the biggest food trend in 2019. Other popular foods included vegan hot dogs and burgers, American pancakes, and hummus.
  • In 2020, one of the trend that was seen in the Poland food market was the fact that it was big and open for new plant based trends. This is because consumers consider plant based to be healthier and sustainable through the reduction of greenhouses gases.
