TSR Dungeons & Dragons - List of Artists & Illustrators

Goals

To ascertain a list of the artists/illustrators associated with the original TSR Dungeons & Dragons or the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons between 1970 and 1985, this includes all rulebooks, modules, and Dragon Magazine for the purpose of research and tracking.

Early Findings

TSR Dungeons & Dragons Illustrators

  • The illustrators and artists of TSR Dungeons & Dragons include Erol Otus, Jeff Easley, and Jee Dee.
  •  Jim Roslof (now late) was the producer and interior illustrator.
  •  Larry Elmore, he assisted in setting the standards for gaming art and created the covers for Dungeons & Dragons.
  •  Erol Otus he created full covers and several interior illustrations for D&D.
  •  Todd Lockwood is an illustrator and author that has done work with D&D.
  •  David C Sutherland III is a seminal artist and an illustrator for D&D.
  •  Raven Mimura was another artist ad illustrator with D&D.
