Request for Proposals for Personal Protective Equipment

Goals

To provide 10-12 Request for Proposals (RFPs) or other significant requests for providing non-sterile medical gown Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Latin American countries and organizations that are in-region requests, not due before June, and are requesting a weekly/monthly ongoing supply. For each RFP, we will provide the organization requesting for non-sterile medical gown PPE, quantity required, timeframe, 1-2 examples of the Latin American country/ies or organization/s recipient/s, and link to the RFPs. We will input the information in the shared spreadsheet that was cited in the section above.

Early Findings

Our research on RFPS or other significant requests for providing non-sterile medical gowns to Brazil and Mexico revealed insights. Here are the key pieces of information we found:

RFPs for PPE

  • There appears to be no request for proposal that has been made for personal protective equipment non-sterile medical gowns in-region for Brazil from any information that is publicly available. Although Mexican medical workers have demanded an in-region response for RFPS for PPE and non-sterile medical gowns, the Mexican government has continued to insist that there is no shortage. From publicly available information, there also appears to be no request for proposal that has been made for personal protective equipment non-sterile medical gowns in-region for Mexico.
