SMB's in Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Shasta counties

Goals

To obtain a list of small-medium businesses in Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Shasta counties in order to get an idea of marketing opportunities. 

Early Findings

Initial research indicates that there is not an official published list of small-medium businesses in Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Shasta counties. Kompass Business Directory has a list that can be filitered by business size, however, the results include government organizations and national companies with locations in thee counties. Nationwide companies and government organizations will not e included in the list. Companies have been entered into the attached spreadsheet. 

Butte
According to Kompass, there are over 9,000 businesses in Butte county with under 1,000 employees before filtering out government and multi-location businesses. 
 Davis Hammon & Co. is an accounting services firm with less than 10 employees. 
 Ultra Beautician is a beauty shop with less than 10 employees. 
 Back to Basics is a chiropractic clinic with 10-19 employees. 
 Downham's Universal Karate Academy is a recreation/fitness facility with less than 10 employees. 
 Magoon Signs is a commercial printing company with less than 10 employees. 
Glenn
According to Kompass, there are about 1,000 businesses in Glenn county with under 1,000 employees before filtering out government and multi-location businesses. 
 Jensen Precast is located in Orland and has 20-49 employees. 
 E & M Growers is located in Willows and has less than 10 employees. 
 Miller Plaster is located in Orland and has 10-19 employees. 
 Sierra Nevada Cheese Company is located in Willows and has 50-99 employees. 
Tehama
According to Kompass, there are about 2,170 businesses in Tehama county with under 1,000 employees before filtering out government and multi-location businesses. 
 Corning Mini Storage is located in Corning and has less than 10 employees. 
 Red Bluff Vet Clinic is located in Red Bluff and has less than 10 employees. 
 Judd Miller Custom Saddlery is located in Red Bluff and has less than 10 employees. 
 Preston's Bail Bonds is located in Red Bluff and has 20-49 employees. 
 99 Wine Tours is located Los Molinos and has less than 10 employees. 
Shasta
According to Kompass, Shasta county has over 10,000 businesses with under 1,000 employees before filtering out government and multi-location businesses.
 Advantage Eye Care is located in Redding and has less than 10 employees. 
 Western Business Products is located in Redding and has less than 10 employees. 
 Battery Systems is located in Redding and has less than 10 employees. 
 Appliances Direct  is located in Redding and has less than 10 employees. 
 Steelhead Constructors is located in Redding and has less than 10 employees.

We were able to locate and enter 5 small-medium businesses for Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Shasta counties. We propose further research to identify 20 more for each county (a total of 80). Each business will be added to the appropriate tab of the spreadsheet with business name, website, location, type, and size.

We can increase the number of businesses to 40 for each county (a total of 160). Each business will be added to the appropriate tab of the spreadsheet with business name, website, location, type, and size.
