Top Trail Mountain Bike Helmets

Goals

To determine if Bell Super 3, Giro Montaro MIPS Bike, and Fox Flux MTB are the consensus Top 3 trail mountain bike helmets, and if not to provide a comparison between the highest rated helmets.

Early Findings

Our research on top trail mountain bike helmets revealed insights that the Bell Super 3, Giro Montaro MIPS Bike, and Fox Flux MTB were included in the top three. The Bell Super 3 and Giro Montaro were ranked in the top three by Mountain Bike Rider, and the Fox Flux MTB was ranked in the top three by Risky Heads. There was also consensus regarding the Bell Sanction as having the best value and was included in the top three for this reason by CarBibles and Risky Heads. Here are key pieces of information we found:
Top Trail Mountain Bike HelmetsAccording to CarBibles, the top three trail mountain bike helmets are: Giro Hex, Giro Switchblade MIPS MTB, and Bell Sanction. 
The Giro Hex is highly rated as the best overall choice for its new and improved fitting mechanism. The Giro Switchblade MIPS MTB is the best premium pick for "a very high-grade helmet with a top level of protective performance." The Bell Sanction is considered as having the best value for providing excellent protection at a lower weight than other designs.
According to Mountain Bike Rider, the top three trail mountain bike helmets are: Bell Super 3, Endura MT500, and Giro Montaro.
The Bell Super 3 is highly ranked for having the best value and for having a feature none of the others have by being able to fit a chin bar to this helmet. The Endura MT500 is highly ranked for including all of the main functional features. The Giro Montaro is also highly ranked for its very stylish and comfortable design.
According to Risky Head, the top three trail mountain bike helmets are: Bell Super 2 MIPS, Fox Flux MTB, and Bell Sanction.
The Bell Super 2 MIPS is highly ranked for its craftmanship, versatility, and value. The Fox Flux MTB is highly ranked for its extended coverage, lightweight design, excellent ventilation, and comfortable fit. The Bell Sanction is highly ranked again for having the best value for providing full face protection, comfort, and style.
