Early Findings
While information about the biggest advertisers was readily available, we were not able to find a specific breakdown by ad spending associated with holidays or the last quarter of 2018.
Moreover, as the latest
advertising report
came out very recently it has not been made publicly available in full, only information about the 10 biggest advertisers in the US was available. As such, we have decided to use the companies that spent the most on advertising in 2017, assuming that their ad spend would either remain constant or increase to keep their top ranking.
