Global Corporate Travel

Goals

To provide a competitive landscape on some of the key players in global corporate travel (Control Risks Group Holdings Ltd, GardaWorld Corporation, Europ Assistance, Global Rescue, Global Guardian, MAX-Security, CEGA Group, and EverBridge). The data points should include their areas of activity within the market, product/service offerings, and their methods of providing travel assistance. We will also attempt to determine who provides a traveler app among their services, whether this app or apps provide real-time intelligence (and how), and whether travel assistance includes real-time chat in some cases. 

Early Findings

We have focused on key player Control Risks Group Holdings Ltd, which is a holding company that provides risk consultancy services worldwide through its subsidiaries. Their information has been entered into the project spreadsheet.
CRG has partnered with International SOS to develop a travel tracking technology that can provide security and medical support for a mobile workforce. 
This technology comes in the form of an assistance mobile phone app, a web portal, and it features automated real-time reporting to keep track of personnel overseas and their activities. Communication with mobile workers can happen in the form of email, SMS, or text-to-speech. 
As of 2016, it also keeps track of travelers bookings “regardless of how and where their trips were booked”. 
At the client’s suggestion, another company (EverBridge) has been included in the spreadsheet and should be a focus of further study. They happen to be partners of CRG. 
We have also added a new column to the spreadsheet to account for each company’s methods of providing travel assistance.
