Walmart Locations in Cities/Towns

Goals

The goal is to find the number of cities/towns Walmart is in across the USA and the number of cities/town Walmart is in by state for a business pitch.

Early Findings

As of April 30, 2019, Walmart itself reports that it is in 4,756 locations across the US.
An updated report from June 17, 2019, shows that Walmart increased to 4,960 locations across the US.

Walmart stores are located in 2,651 cities throughout the United States.

Texas has the most Walmart stores with 517 locations. The next biggest state is Florida with 333 stores.

Jacksonville: 23
Orlando: 23
Las Vegas: 22
The Scrape Hero report we uncovered provides a plethora of useful data on Walmart locations. This includes more of the top cities and the number of locations Walmart is in. It also includes the type of Walmart locations and breaks this down for all 50 states.
